We are pleased to welcome our new Social Media Marketing Executive Amelia to Team Dojo. Amelia is the 5th member of the Marketing team and 3rd to join the revolution since 2019 as Team Dojo continue to grow!
What is your role at Market Dojo?
As the newest member of Market Dojo’s marketing team, I am here to generate leads for the sales team. Overseeing the social sites, I look forward to creating and working on exciting content to share and promote the ideas of Market Dojo, sparking interest in the population of the company’s values and produced work.
What are you hoping to achieve in your first year?
I’m hoping to not only make an impact on the socials of Market Dojo but also build a good rapport with clients and work alongside the marketing team to continue Market Dojo’s success.
What one thing would you bring to the office if you could?
Ted, my french bulldog, to be fair, I’d take him everywhere if I could. He gives the best cuddles and loves to meet new people, although his snoring might be a bit of a distraction…
What is the most unusual job you’ve ever had?
Over the summer break after my first year of university, I was a bartender at an adult entertainment dance venue (you get the idea), it paid the bills and certainly left me with some funny stories. It was an interesting summer to say the least.
What is the most embarrassing song you have on your phone?
It would be the Big Mac Rap, who needs to know a rap about McDonalds? When I think about it now, I wonder how did I even discovered it and then why I invested my time learning it? Does it pass off as a secret talent? (It did get me a free cheeseburger once upon a time).
What is one thing about yourself that you think others would be surprised to know?
I learnt how to drive a tractor before I knew how to drive a car, I guess that’s what growing up on a farm does to you!
What are your hobbies and interests?
I really like being outside; from country walks with Ted the pup to a trip out with a tent. I also love getting my teeth stuck into anything creative, photography, I like drawing, painting and even sewing. My partner and I are currently on the hunt for a van to renovate into a camper. I also enjoy reading and trips to the cinema.
If you could be any animal what would you be?
Definitely a dog, specifically Ted (can you tell I’m obsessed with him); he has the best snacks, the best naps and in general the best day to day.
Where have you travelled? Favourite place?
I’m fortunate enough to have been able to travel to quite a few places, but my favourite place in the world would still be my mums house. Having recently moved out, I’m constantly looking for excuses to pop by. There’s nothing quite like home comforts!
What’s on your bucket list?
I don’t really have a bucket list, mainly just to continue living a good, healthy and happy life but if I had to choose I would jump at the chance to go on a hot air balloon ride or even do a skydive.
