How To Create A Power BI Report

 Power BI can be used to report on data extracted from Market Dojo. Currently questionnaire answers and events are supported.

You can use our API to access data stored in Market Dojo and use it to build reports. The examples below are specific to Power BI, but can be used with any reporting solution which accepts JSON format data. If you need help, Market Dojo’s Customer Success team can help you get started with our reporting solutions.

Steps

1. Login to Market Dojo
2. Go to your profile page, make a note of your E-mail and Market Dojo API Key
3. Request the API documentation from your account manager or the support team 
4. Choose which report you wish to use.
5. With the details noted in points 3 and 4, you can now build your report
6. Switch to Power BI
7. Create a new report, Click ‘Get Data’ Choose ‘Web’ as the source.
8. Choose the ‘Advanced’ option, enter the url noted in point 8 above, then add the email and API key as extra parts (note the ?email=  and &api_key= text) as shown in the screenshot below.
