New Release – April 2019

Our development team have been working hard behind the scenes to bring users of our software some useful new features. Here are some of the newest features for you to check out:

SIMDojo User Experience Improvements

This month we have taken the time to focus upon the SIM on-boarding user experience; making changes in a number of screens to improve the day-to-day usability.

This includes a number of small interface adjustments, such as a loading indicator when submitting a questionnaire:

Additionally, the recycle bin window will now remain open when permanently deleting a participant, reducing the number of clicks to clean up the bin.

You can also do this in bulk by clicking on ‘Empty Recycle Bin’.

We reviewed the content of our emails when sending invitations; clarifying the single-use nature of the link, to reduce confusion when a participant passes on an invite internally.

Graph for Totals on Simple Lot Auctions

We’ve expanded our simple lot auction graphs to include illustrations of the total. This provides the same visuals as for the individual lots, but provides a clearer representation of how the overall cost has changed over time.

Integration with Power BI

To give our users access to the latest in reporting technology, we now provide integration with Power BI; Microsoft’s premier analytics service. It delivers access to interactive visuals, drawing data from a number of sources; allowing you to share business performance and make fast informed decisions. Although exporting data from Market Dojo into PowerBI has been possible for a while, we’ve now added a “Reporting” tab, which allows you to see your data all in one place, within the tool.

Other

Performance continues to be a high priority, and we have spent time to resolve issues ensuring the system runs as smoothly as possible for our users.

Alongside this, we have made a number of small changes to the interface; making screens cleaner and easier to use.

We’ve provided guidance to additional areas of the system within Help Dojo; putting answers to more frequently asked questions at your fingertips.

We have continued to work on expanding our language capabilities and expect to support 12 languages in the near future.
