Highlights
Overview
April has been another challenging month, with Covid-19 meaning Market Dojo and many of our customers are on lockdown. However, we have continued to extend and enhance our products Here is a run down of changes we’ve been able to include this month.
Faster advanced lots
The first part of our “Advanced Lots Plus” project is now Generally Available. This project has the objective of supporting advanced lots with many 1000’s of components. Everyone now has the updated lot creation User Interface (UI). The new UI has been rebuilt from scratch with a focus on performance. Although it looks familiar, you will notice a number of small changes which will speed things up. The form itself will open and close faster and new price cells are ranked by default (the option most people prefer), which will save a click.
The new add component form, much like the old form but faster
Search for contracts by title
Our global search feature is the fastest way to identify all contracts which have documents, titles, etc matching a specific keyword. However, our customers have told us that sometimes they want to be a bit more targeted. Therefore you can now search specifically on the contract title, using a dedicated search field on the list view. This is especially useful if you are trying to track down a contract using keywords that frequently appear in the contract documentation.
Turkish language
We have been adding a lot of languages to the platform. This has helped those customers who have colleagues in many locations; or who want to work with the widest possible range of suppliers. We have made some process improvements that mean we can integrate professionally translated content into our platform much faster. Our first opportunity to use this new process was with Turkish which we are very pleased to announce is now live and available for use to everyone.
Şu anda Türkçe dahil toplam 23 dilimiz var.
Improved workflow for expiring/expired documents
In our supplier onboarding process, an expiring document used to mean that the supplier was removed from the ‘onboarding complete’ status. Customers that this meant it wasn’t easy to keep track of which suppliers had completed the onboarding process, once their documents started to expire. Now, we have separated out the two statuses, so you can now have a supplier who is onboarding complete, but also has expired/expiring documents.
Suppliers who have been approved, but also have expiring documents.
SIM Permissions
We have made our SIM Permissions more granular, so when you have a bigger team, you can segment responsibilities more effectively. Different people can have access to configure the event; invite participants; and make the final approval decision. We are also working on the ability to give permission over a subset of participants, and this feature will be covered next month.
More granular permissions – collaborate more securely with a large team.
Other Changes
Our development team has also been able to release a series of smaller enhancements across our modules:
