New release – February 2020

In a month full of wet weather across the country, Market Dojo’s Dev team have been working hard to bring a little bit of joy to our users.

We have continued to work on long-term roadmap items, alongside a dedicated team for Customer Love items that can be raised through support or account management.

Here are just some of the things we have released in February:

Bookmarking Messages

We know that for some sourcing events, hosts can find themselves bombarded by messages. On the messages tab, both host and participant users can now bookmark a message, to ensure it is not missed. The list can then be filtered to only show these messages to quickly work through any outstanding queries.

Document Tab Location

When creating an event within Market Dojo, we have amended the order in which tabs will appear for the user. Having set up the framework for your event on the Settings tab, you will then be directed to configure your Documents next. These documents can then be referenced within question descriptions, with hyperlinks configurable.

Bulk Line Item Deletion

To make it easier to correct your event, we are adding more functionality across the system to implement bulk changes, including here the ability to delete line items. By selecting the checkbox on the left, the ‘Delete’ option will appear. Multiple line items can be selected and deleted in one go.

Other Changes

There are a host of other smaller items we have explored this month, that will help with day-to-day tasks:

• Filtering by MD event owner made a drop-down, with the current user at the top
• ‘Document’ is now the default when linking items within an MD event brief
• More flexibility on the participant sign-up process
• Go Live date shown against the Quick Quotes event list

In the Works

Our second quarter is coming to an end and we are excited to get our teeth into our roadmap items for the next half of the financial year. These include:

• A suite of enhancements to SIM Dojo to make on-boarding easier than ever before
• The ability to end an RFQ immediately rather than wait for the defined deadline
• Questionnaire deadlines within Market Dojo can be linked to allow for bulk updating
• We have started a large-scale project for a new module, more to be announced in the near future.
