Highlights
Overview
May was another productive month for the product team. The three main projects we worked on are Advanced Lots Plus; SRM and Customer Love. Here is a summary of what we have released.
Faster advanced lots
The second part of our “Advanced Lots Plus” project is now Generally Available. This project has the objective of supporting advanced lots with many 1000’s of components. All participants are now using an updated RFQ bidding page for advanced lots. The new UI has been rebuilt from scratch with a focus on performance. Although it looks familiar, it will work faster, especially when the lot has many components.
Our advanced lot function, RFQ bidding page, much like the old page but faster.
We are excited to see these improvements and have a lot more to come on advanced lots in the next few months.
Reporting
We have added a number of new data points to our reporting API, and also improved performance. This means that customers who use third party tools like Power BI are able to include more data in their reports, and can refresh them more quickly. This is especially useful when creating or enhancing the report and will make the experience more enjoyable and productive.
SIM Permissions
Continuing the work started last month, we have made our SIM Permissions more granular.. You can now give users permission to a subset of participants. This is useful if you have a large team, or if different people are responsible for different groups of suppliers.
More granular permissions – now you can control who can view or edit groups of suppliers.
SRM – first alpha release
We have made our SRM project available internally to the Market Dojo team. This version has functionality to:
THis is a really important milestone for us. From this point we intend to release regularly, next making it available to our customer working group and using feedback to improve the product rapidly. We are looking forward to sharing much more information on SRM in the coming months.
Other Changes
Our development team has also been able to release a series of smaller enhancements across our modules. Some of these highlights are:
