We at Market Dojo are delighted to announce the release of our new module SRM Dojo!

What is it for?

SRM Dojo is a Supplier Relationship Management tool intended to be your hub for all things procurement.

It is a centralised location for all supplier data and a place to log all interactions people across your business are having with your suppliers.

It ensures that nothing gets missed and everyone is working from the same place.

Suppliers relationships can be monitored and actions placed against suppliers to encourage improved performance.

How to get started?

Starting today, all companies will have access to SRM Dojo, with Superhosts able to issue out two free licences amongst their users from the SRM Settings page. 

This free licence will give you access to all features of the tool, with only a limit on the number of activities you can create.

When you first navigate to the module, it will populate your supplier database with all of the participants you have added across the Market Dojo suite of products; matching contacts up based on email address. Once the SRM is up and running, every contact you add into any of our systems will automatically be assigned to the right supplier in the SRM.

How Do I Log Meetings and Tasks in SRM Dojo?

Details of all interactions with suppliers can be recorded within the SRM by using the Activities feature. Here, you can log all details of calls, meetings and any other discussions; for the whole business to access in a centralised location.

Where there are actions to be taken against the account, you can also add tasks and future meetings, with reminders available to be sent both internally and externally.

For any activity; documents and notes can be added, as well as multiple contacts on both the host and participant side. By including a due date on activities, users will also be alerted to where a task has become overdue.

There is also the ability to customise the status and priority value lists against activities to ensure that the tool matches up to your processes.

Where an activity requires sub-actions, you can also create sub-activities to more easily keep track of all related data.

From the SRM Dashboard, users can monitor the activities assigned to them and clearly see the supplier actions they have coming up.

Objectives

Additionally available as an activity option, you can add a personal objective to the SRM. These are then provided their own dashboard widget, so you can keep on top of any goals you and your team have targeted.

What Does a Supplier Look Like in SRM Dojo?

For each supplier record within the SRM, you can see all of the contact and all of the data associated with the account.

Header 

In the header you can see all of the key data against the supplier. The number of sourcing events, contacts and activities the supplier contacts have been a part of, in addition to the current SIM Dojo statuses, and the key details of the supplier. Details can be amended by clicking on the edit button, including the contact email domains that should be assigned to this supplier automatically e.g. ‘marketdojo.com’ and ‘marketdojo.co.uk’.

Responsibility can be assigned using the owners field, and suppliers assigned to a user will stand out in vicarious locations throughout the tool.

Tagging and Custom Fields

Suppliers can be easily segmented within the tool using the tagging feature, with users able to define the categories and individual tags available. Once configured, suppliers can be filtering across the tool for easy management of your supply-chain based upon; location, industry or tier of importance.

For any additional information you require on your suppliers, custom fields can also be configured, allowing all of the important data to be stored in one place.

Users of SIM Dojo will also have the ability to pull through their tagging and custom fields from their onboarding tool, reducing data entry. You may also specify question responses you want to show under the ‘SIM Questions’ panel.

Collated Module Data

For each supplier within the tool there is a comprehensive detailing of all actions their contacts have taken within the Market Dojo tools.

Firstly you can see the contacts that are a part of the supplier; this list is automatically created based on email domain, but additional contacts can be added easily and contacts can be moved with minimal clicks.

Associated contacts lists the participant users who have been added to SIM Dojo and Contracts alongside the supplier contacts and are therefore related in some way, but do not match on email domain.

The following tabs then show the instances in the other modules where a supplier contact has been added. This could be participating in a Market Dojo RFQ/Auction, assigned to a Contract Dojo contract, idea submissions in Innovation Dojo or completing onboarding in SIM Dojo.

Notes

You can also add notes against both suppliers and contacts within the SRM, allowing for any supplementary information to be recorded.

The notes tab will also show any notes that have been added to the individual supplier contacts, or within any other module.

What Does a Contact Look Like in SRM Dojo?

The contact view within SRM Dojo shows all of the details that are discussed above for Suppliers, but for an individual.

Meaning you can easily see all of the MD sourcing events, or SIM Dojo questionnaires that the user has completed.

As contacts are assigned to suppliers based on their email domain there is a verification status shown within the header. Where the assignment has been performed correctly, you can flip this over to true, to confirm this contact is reachable for this supplier.
