However, data from our eSourcing solution suggests that businesses are using our platform to run more eSourcing events than ever, in fact, we are on course for the most monthly events we have seen in the last 12 months.
What our event data tells us
As you can see illustrated in the graph below the number of events run through our eSourcing tools has increased month on month from March through to May, with June still underway it is shaping up to continue this upward trend.
The month of May might very well be our busiest month ever in terms of the sheer volume of events that have been run through our eSourcing solution and it is great for us to see our tools and solutions being used to help counter the struggles businesses are facing during the pandemic.
What our active user data tells us over previous months
If we compare the number of active users this year in comparison to last year’s data (see the graph below), you’ll notice that the active figure almost doubles in the number of users.
As you can see the pink trend line suggests that there has been a steady increase of active users over the past year, which could be due to a few different things such as;
But given the increase during the first few months of the pandemic, looking at March onwards we can see that after the initial drop, the number of active users increased with a continual upwards trend. Whilst Market Dojos user base has been growing over the last few years with the additional products of Contract Dojo and SIM Dojo, this recent growth surge exceeds the projected expectations prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This suggests that there could be greater recent competitions for events, whilst businesses need to cut costs and greater demand from suppliers to win business. The holistic environment our eSourcing solution provides is a testament to that end, in helping both businesses and suppliers in these troubled times.
We’ve also noticed a significant number of users making use of our COVID-19 RFI initiative. Since the template was uploaded, it has been used by a range of users that feature both new and existing clients. We introduced this measure to help businesses around the world, mitigate risk, and understand the impact of COVID-19 on their supply chains.
